Malibou Lake Lodge Wedding | Kristin & Daniel — Tehachapi Wedding Photographer

I had such an amazing time photographing Kristin and Daniel’s wedding at Malibou Lake Lodge. It is such a beautiful old venue, and the team of vendors complimented the day nicely.

Kristin and Daniel were both so much fun to work with and their friends and family were so kind. Except for when the Maid of Honor, Alicia, got her own Starbucks delivery and left the bride without any. Kristin got her back though. She made Alicia get up after the cake cutting and stand in front of everyone while they sang Happy Birthday to her. Revenge is sweet. Jokes aside, It really was her birthday, which is pretty cool to think of your best friend getting married on your birthday.

One of my favorite parts of the day, was the kids lighting up the dancefloor. Kristin said that her son promised to dance on her wedding day and boy did he deliver. Ben and his cousins, along with some other kids attending the wedding, went so hard on the dancefloor that I got tired just by watching. I kept asking myself, “Like, at what age did I no longer have that kind of energy?.”

Kristin and Daniel, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your day. It was special from the moment it began until you snuck by me into the car and left at the end of the night.
