Wedding Venues in Mammoth Lakes

Mammoth and June Wedding Venues

Mammoth Lakes Wedding Venues

Both Mammoth Lakes and June Lake are home to the most beautiful wedding venues. When you get married in Mammoth or June, the options are outstanding. For the ceremony, you can choose epic mountain top views, towering pine trees, basins, lakes and more. For the receptions, there are rustic cabins, ski lodges and an incredible brewery. Each venue has it’s own special characteristics and they’ll surely make for a setting that you and your guests will remember forever! And, of course, the images will be incredible. I have compiled a list of my favorites venues here.

When it comes to planning a wedding in Mammoth Lakes, some of the venues are privately owned and some are on US Forest Service land. This means that some of these venues are seasonal and may have additional fees for the use of Forest Service land. I will try to include the available seasons with each of these options and provide you with the contact information to inquire about booking and pricing.

Forest Chapel At Twin Lakes

Forest Chapel, located at Tamarack Lodge and Twin Lakes, is an outdoor amphitheater with a beautiful forest backdrop. It’s the ultimate space for a ‘woodsy’ wedding.

This is one of my absolute favorite venues and I would definitely put it in the top 3 for where to have a wedding ceremony in Mammoth Lakes. Forest Chapel provides a unique experience for you and your guests with its log-style seating, wooden stage and an incredible wooden pergola nestled in the trees between the Twin Lakes.

This venue is only available for ceremonies during the summer/ fall season.

The Top Of Mammoth Mountain

Standing above 11,000 feet surrounded by 360 degrees off breathtaking views is most-definitely a memorable wedding experience. This is what The Top Of Mammoth Mountain offers.

Imagine taking in those final deep breaths as you ride up the gondola, soaring over cliffs on the way to your wedding ceremony. You then exit out of the top station and begin your walk down the aisle, in awe of the beauty that surrounds you. It’s completely surreal. It is truly an experience like none other.

Available Seasons

Weather permitting, this venue is available for ceremonies year-round.

Convict Lake Resort

Convict Lake Resort is a beautiful, all-inclusive, wedding venue. Located just across the highway from the Mammoth Lakes airport, it has everything you need for a spectacular day that you and your guests will remember forever.

I highly recommend this venue for the views, the variety, the food and, of-course, the convenience! Being an all-inclusive venue, Convict Lake Resort offers a ceremony and reception site, a planning service, catering, bar service and more. The venue staff is also incredible. They go above and beyond every single day to ensure your day goes better than planned.

Convict Lake Resort hosts weddings May-October only.

There is a Guest minimum of 30 and a maximum of 185 people.

Camp High Sierra

Nestled in the woods near Juniper Springs Resort and Eagle Lodge, you will find Camp High Sierra. This is my personal favorite reception venue in Mammoth Lakes.

This smaller, cabin-style venue offers an intimate experience for you and your guests. You are able to have your ceremony here, but if used solely as a reception venue, Camp High Sierra can pair nicely with a Forest Chapel ceremony.

Available Seasons

Camp High Sierra is only available for weddings in September and October.

Guest Count

This venue can accommodate up to 80 guests.

Camp High Sierra Wedding Price

The venue fee is $5,000-$6,000 depending on the day of the week requested. For full pricing and booking contact Mammoth Weddings.

Sierra Meadows Ranch

Sierra Meadows Ranch is located just on the edge of the town in Mammoth Lakes. It offers incredible views for your ceremony and has a really awesome, clear reception tent. This venue also has cabins onsite for lodging.

Sierra Meadows Ranch Wedding Price

I recommend contacting them to get current prices, but as of writing this, the venue fee is $1,950. However, you must also rent out 6 of the cabins for 2 nights minimum which can be used for yourselves, the wedding party, family or guests. The cabin fee for 6 cabins would be $4,734.
