Convict Lake | Wedding Venue in Mammoth Lakes, California

Convict Lake is such a beautiful wedding venue. Located just across the highway from the Mammoth Lakes airport, it has everything you need for a spectacular day that you and your guests will remember forever.

Convict, for starters, has the most amazing food. I photograph weddings all over and I would say Convict Lake provides one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Aside from the food, the venue is very ‘all-inclusive.’ You can start and finish your wedding day here.

There are cabins on site where you and your guests can stay for the weekend and it makes getting ready on site convenient. Then, the ceremony site is just a short stroll from the cabins nestled in the aspen trees. After your ceremony, you have multiple options for epic photos of you and your partner. One of the favorite spots of course is a short drive down to the lake. Convict Lake has many different viewpoints, but you can also head right down to the shore. Finally, to round out the evening, Convict provides a reception tent onsite. It’s relatively new and it is perfect. I would call it a hybrid tent. There is a white tent style ceiling but the sides are clear giving you views of the outdoors from inside.

Convict Lake is a wedding venue I highly recommend for the views, the variety, the food and of course the convenience! One more thing to add is that the venue staff is incredible. They go above and beyond every single day to ensure your day goes better than planned.
